A Summer's Day Disco

In 2019 Neptune Entertainment added yet another celebration of music to their already impressive list of shows, bringing the biggest icons of the Disco era together for the first-time in New Zealand. The event, A Summer’s Day Disco, brought six of the world's biggest disco legends to New Zealand shores for one show only at Mount Maunganui including Rock & Roll Hall of Famers The Jacksons, as well as acts synonymous with the Disco era such as Kool & The Gang, Sister Sledge, The Pointer Sisters, Village People and the Sounds of the Supremes. The all-ages outdoor event is described as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see kings and queens of disco together, aimed at bringing legendary music acts to New Zealand shores so people of all ages, families and friends can create memories to last a lifetime.
